Short answers, using the same words as the buttons. Everything here is also inside the app under Docs.
Your Phones
Each phone you pair shows up here.
- Add Phone shows a code. Open the AndrIoT app on the old phone, type the code, done.
- The card shows Battery, Temp and Power. "Online" means the phone is connected right now.
- Open Device opens that phone: Live Stream, Motion Rules, Screen, Files and the rest.
- Rename or remove a phone in Details → This phone.
Live Stream
Watch and record the camera.
- Start Live Stream opens video and audio. Stop stream releases the camera.
- Record now saves a clip to Recordings.
- Zoom enlarges the picture in your browser. The phone's camera is not re-focused.
- Start patrol sweeps 1× → 2× → 3× every 10 seconds while this tab stays open.
- Light is the phone torch. Lens switches front / back.
Motion Rules
What counts as motion, and how long the clip is.
- Detection Mode filters by the *shape* of what moved (people, pets, vehicles). It is not face or object recognition.
- Motion clip length is how long each motion recording runs (5–30 s).
- Continuous recording records even with nobody watching, in segments (10 s to 5 min).
- Detection zone: drag on the preview to only watch that part of the frame.
- Camera orientation: pick Portrait if the phone stands upright, so the zone matches.
Recordings
The clips the phone uploaded.
- They appear by themselves when motion fires, or when you press Record now.
- Click a clip to play it. Delete Video removes it for good.
- Free keeps 12 hours, Standard 7 days, Pro 30 days. Old clips are removed first.
Activity
Everything that happened, newest first.
- Alerts from the phone: motion, sound, power cut, tripwire, heat.
- Filter by event type, and choose how many rows per page.
- Open an event to see its details and any recording from that moment.
Two-Way Intercom
Listen to the room, and talk back.
- Start listening plays the phone microphone and shows the level.
- Your microphone is off until you press Mic muted — that button opens it.
- Your voice comes out of the phone's speaker. Live video pauses while you listen.
Screen Display
Use the phone as a display.
- Show a message, an image, a YouTube video or a scrolling banner.
- Screenshot and full-screen capture need one approval on the phone each time the app restarts.
- Reset screen puts the phone back to the normal status screen.
File Manager
Files inside the app folder on the phone.
- Upload, download or delete files. Long lists are paged.
- You only see the app's own folder, never your photos or the rest of the phone.
Terminal
Run commands on the phone.
- Type a command and press Run, or use the quick buttons (ls, df, uptime…).
- ↑ and ↓ walk through your history. Clear empties the output.
Network
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SIM and the IR blaster.
- Scan lists nearby Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices. Ping checks connectivity.
- IR sends TV or air-conditioner keys if the phone has an IR blaster.
Schedulers
Things the phone does on its own, every day.
- Pick an action (speak, sound, notice, image, video, ultrasonic tone), a time and how often.
- The phone keeps the schedule, so it runs with this page closed.
Forwarding Hub
Send alerts somewhere else.
- Telegram: open @andriot_bot, press Start, paste the chat id here.
- Webhook and MQTT are on Pro. Standard includes Telegram.
Logs
Who did what, including phones going offline.
- Every action from this dashboard, and every online/offline change.
- Filter by device, category or status, or search the text.
Downloads & updates
The Android app.
- The phone updates itself: a notice appears at the top of its screen when a new version exists.
- On the phone, ★ → Check for updates asks immediately.
- Android 4.1–4.4 uses the Legacy app.
Plans & billing
What you get, and what it costs.
- Every new account starts with 1 hour of full access, starting when you pair your first phone.
- Free: 1 phone, recordings kept 12 h, 1 hour of live streaming per day.
- Standard and Pro: more phones, 1080p, longer history, Telegram and webhooks.
- Card payments by Stripe. Cancel any time; the plan stays until the period ends.
Keep the phone running
An old phone in a corner has to survive reboots.
- Leave it plugged in. The app warns you about power cuts and heat.
- On the phone: ★ → Keep running after a reboot → allow battery exemption, auto-start and "home app".
- Battery cycling with a smart plug is optional (Details → Smart Plug) and keeps the battery healthy.
